Dispatch Ticket Filter Update

[00:00:00] Hi, Eric Christensen here at IVO Systems, and we just recently released a software update that really goes into allowing users to better sort and filter their dispatch tickets. This was requested by our users and what we love here at IVO Systems is getting requests from our customers that, we’re using this software so much that we need to filter and see more information faster. So of course, we would make that logical update to our software.

Then from there, we also updated some of the looks and feel of the software as well, just to again, improve the user experience. That’s, a cool place for us to be with IVO Systems since we’re really moving our software forward, along with our customers to address their specific needs and how they can, better use our software to improve their operations Hopefully, you get a chance to enjoy that update as a customer, or if you want to see what we’re offering, we would love to set up a demo to quickly demonstrate how we might be able to help you.

IVO Systems Software Update- Forms

We recently released an update which gives you the ability to create and assign forms/inspections to equipment. These forms can be easily completed by field personnel on their mobile devices. Please contact us if you are interested in using these features.

Here is a summary of the changes:

  • Create form templates which you can assign to equipment groups or equipment individually
  • Employees access and perform inspections/forms from the user dashboard
  • See action items identified on forms on the Maintenance Dashboard
  • Use the equipment form submittal report to monitor compliance with your inspection requirements

At IVO Systems, co-founder Bob Lien developed our software in-house, and we built our platform to be as simple as possible. We have a combined 25 years of experience in the heavy civil construction industry, and we’ve had our fair share of software that over-complicates our needs. We know what we want out of our software, and we’ve worked hard to eliminate any unnecessary features in order to streamline our platform and make it as efficient as possible.

IVO Systems Software Update – Scheduler Notifications

We have recently pushed out an update which includes added functionality for schedule notifications and the ability to limit information seen on schedule notifications by employee group. You may have to log out of the system and log back in for all of these changes to be accessible.

Here is a summary of the changes:

  • Send custom text message notifications to employees assigned to a job for a date
  • You can now see the notification history for an employee on any date, including schedule notifications and custom notifications:
  • Revamped schedule notification text message links — employees will now receive a web link to their schedule for a date instead of a PDF. This new page does not require them to login and is specific to them, reflecting any limits you set on their access to information. Please see an example of how they look here: https://link.ivosystems.com/PV0YDl You can quickly change what job information an employee can see by changing the settings for their employee group as seen below:
  • Personal Notes (specific to an employee) no longer copy automatically when copying a day’s schedule. Instead, there is a checkbox which you can select if you would like to copy each individual note from that date.

Software Update: Work Order & Preventative Maintenance Workflow Changes

IVO Systems released a software update on August 10th, 2020. This update primarily addresses requests from customers related to maintenance work orders. Users can now attach meter readings, preventative maintenance items, photos and more to work orders with just a few clicks as seen below.

We have also made it easier to create work orders quickly. You can add work orders from the dashboard page, equipment detail page or directly from the maintenance alert dashboard as seen below.

We plan to add more functionality in future updates based on customer feedback.

This update also makes it easier to view the maintenance history for a machine as seen below.

Software Update: User Dashboards

IVO Systems understands the difficult work environment on jobsites. Therefore, we created a User Dashboard to simplify field use. We know time is money, especially on the job, but tracking operations is equally important to the bottom line.

The software update was released on July 7th, 2020 for a new User Dashboard feature. Customers can now set up custom user dashboards for different users and roles throughout their organization. Field employees can easily view their schedule, dispatch tickets, maintenance orders, and more. They can also quickly add hour meter readings and work order requests to improve workflow.
